694 new cases of COVID-19 and 12  deaths have been reported in British Columbia on Dec 03.

Dr. Bonnie Henry, provincial health officer of British Columbia said, “There are 9,103  active cases of COVID-19 in the province. There are 325 individuals currently hospitalized with COVID-19, 80 of whom are in intensive care. ”

So far, 35,422 people have been tested positive for COVID- 19 and 24,928 have been recovered, 481 people have died from COVID- 19 In British Columbia.

“As vaccines become available, they will be our first step to protect people from severe illness and death. But right now, we must use all of our layers of protection, combined with the orders and restrictions, to slow the spread and keep people safe’ ’Said Bonnie Henry.

“We understand that the orders have an impact on our daily lives and well-being, and we are working to balance that with the need to protect our communities and those who are most vulnerable’’, Bonnie Added.
