Numerous eyewitnesses from Saturday’s Lapu Lapu Day car attack in Vancouver have come forward to tell their side of the story.
Kris Pangilinan was one of the many vendors present at the event, he had brought his pop-up clothing and lifestyle boot. Kris saw the SUV, a black 2018 Audi Q7, enter slowly past the barricade on 43rd avenue before the driver then slammed on the gas in an area that was packed with people after the final musical act of the festival. Kris said hearing the sounds of bodies hitting the vehicle will never leave his mind.
The accused, Kai-Ji Adam Lo, has been charged with 8 counts of murder with potential for more charges. Lo has refused bail and is due to appear in front of the Superior Court of British Columbia on May 26th.
