More than 82,000 fairgoers packed the Cloverdale Fairgrounds
The list of facts and figures from the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair sounds like a broken record with the number of records broken. From the expansion to five days and 104 artists performing across seven stages, to massive crowds packing the rodeo arena, music venues, midway, and new attractions all weekend long, the five-day celebration at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds delivered one of the biggest weekends in event history. With a festival atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Western Canada, the 2026 event proved once again why the Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair continues to grow as one of BC’s most anticipated annual traditions.
As fans relive the unforgettable moments, highlight performances, and memories made across the fairgrounds this May Long Weekend, planning is already underway for an even bigger return in 2027. The Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair rides back into town May 20–24, 2027, for another five days of rodeo, music, community, and an original kind of country. Mark your calendars, and we’ll see you in 2027!
More than 82,000 fairgoers packed the Cloverdale Fairgrounds over the May Long Weekend, making the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair the biggest event in the organization’s history. From sold-out rodeo performances and late nights in the Longhorn Saloon to packed and headline concerts and expanded attractions across the grounds, this year’s event shattered attendance records and raised the bar for what an Original Kind of Country can be.
Sunday set the all-time daily record with over 31,000 fairgrounds admission tickets, and Monday nearly doubled the 2025 figure, with 15,000+ attending on the final day.
The world’s top cowboys and cowgirls competed in five professional Rodeo performances in front of yet another year of record crowds in the Stetson Bowl. Sell-out crowds were on hand to cheer on the riders as they competed for over $300,000 in prize money and a coveted set of Cloverdale Spurs.
