Joel Reed, 35, who was wanted by police on a Canada-wide warrant, was arrested Wednesday  morning. Reed was the subject of  Tuesday's Wanted Person Alert. 

Reed contacted his Parole Officer and voluntarily turned himself in at the Victoria Police Department headquarters on Caledonia Avenue in Victoria, where he was arrested. 

Reed is currently serving a federal sentence for convictions including; Extortion, Break and Enter, Theft Under $5000, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order, and Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition.
