Prince George RCMP responds fatal road accident
On Sunday, May 31, just before 5:00 p.m. Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle incident between a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The incident occurred north of the city on Highway 97 near Bear Lake.
When investigators arrived at the location, they were informed that the driver of the motorcycle had not survived the collision; the driver of the pickup truck was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“What we are looking for from the public is anyone with dash camera video that was driving in that area at the time of the collision, or anyone who witnessed the incident that has not yet spoken to police. You can contact an investigator by calling our non-emergency line at 250-561-3300,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased in their time of mourning.
This investigation remains ongoing.
