Meta has reaffirmed its commitment to combating child exploitation following a major enforcement action by the Indian government involving social media platforms.

In a blog post, the company said child exploitation is a "heinous crime" that will not be tolerated and that it is taking strong action to detect and remove illegal content across its platforms.

Meta said its technical teams are working to identify and remove abusive material, while collaborating with law enforcement agencies and authorities in multiple countries by sharing relevant information to support investigations.
