In every municipality that has not yet adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of antisemitism, including its illustrative examples, Conservative Mayors and Councillors will move and vote for its immediate adoption.

Further, the Conservative Electors Association requires all candidates to affirm their full support of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of antisemitism, including its illustrative examples, as a condition of their nomination as Conservative candidates for municipal elected office.

The Conservative Electors Association is firmly committed to combatting antisemitism in all its forms.

Jewish residents deserve to live, work and worship without hatred, intimidation or discrimination. Municipal governments in BC must clearly recognize the threat of rising antisemitism, confront it, and refuse to tolerate it.
