White Rock RCMP is investigating a home invasion that occurred on Sunday evening and is asking the public for assistance.

On November 1,  at 9:21 p.m., White Rock RCMP received a report that a resident was confronted by an unknown man outside a residence in the 14500-block of Sunset Drive and was then forced back inside the home. The suspect remained in the residence for a period of time, stole property, and subsequently fled the area. The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

The suspect description is limited. He is described as a tall Caucasian man with an athletic build.

Investigators are particularly interested in obtaining dash camera, doorbell, or security video footage captured around the 14500-block of Sunset Drive between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on November 1, 2026. Anyone who observed suspicious activity during that time is asked to contact police.

“Home invasions are extremely concerning incidents that can have a significant impact on a person's sense of safety and security,” said Staff Sergeant Rob Dixon, Detachment Commander of White Rock RCMP. “We are asking anyone who may have information, or who may have video footage from the area, to come forward and speak with investigators. We also encourage residents to report any suspicious persons or activity in their neighbourhoods, as information from the public can play a vital role in advancing investigations and enhancing community safety.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact White Rock RCMP at 778-545-4800 and quote file number 2026-6298.
