Israeli Strikes Kill 12 Palestinians in Gaza, Including Six Members of One Family
No less than 12 Palestinians, six from one family, died due to three different Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, reported medics from the area. They hit a burning building in the al-Sabra sector of Gaza City, another house in al-Samar, and a car in al-Zahra. While the Israeli military explained their target in the first strike to be a Hamas operative, the UN Human Rights Office criticized this increased use of military strikes, warning there could be a violation of international law since more than 1,100 Palestinians have been killed since the last October ceasefire deal.
