Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Wednesday declared the result of senior secondary class. Supneet Kaur of Mansa secured the first position in the state in Science stream by securing 500 out of 500 marks, Suhani Chauhan toped in the state in Humanities group by securing 500 out of the total 500 marks and Vineet Johar secured the third position in the state by securing 500 out of 500 marks. She is also from the humanities group.

Since Vineet is older than Suhani, so she is declared at the third position.

The PSEB in the statement said that a total number of 265417 Regular students and 12390 Open School students appeared in examination and the pass percentage for regular students is  91.46 percent while 64.06 for Open School. The pass percentage in the rural areas is  91.63 percent  and that of schools in Urban area is 91.24. Girls outshined boys in the results as 94.73 percent girls passed the exam as compared to 88.52 percent students.

PSEB conducted examination from  February 17  to April 4 . Examinations were conducted smoothly and successfully. Examinations of the subjects were schedule keeping in mind the dates of their respective competitive examinations. Sufficient time was given in between two examinations offered by the students.

To ensure that all the activities of the examinations are carried on smoothly PSEB has developed Standard Operating Procedure and provided them to all concerned stakeholders. Important information regarding the conduct of examination and evaluation was communicated to all the stakeholders and queries of the participants were also cleared.

Punjab School Education Board is hosting its result on its website www.pseb.ac.in .Students can access their results using their roll number. The school-wise result will also be made available on the school's portal.
Result documents will be provided to the students in their Digi Locker.
Aptitude testing and career/further studies guidance/online counselling is being provided free to 50 students o n first come first serve basis through the Board's website.
