RCMP investigating shooting incident in Prince Geroge
Prince George RCMP Frontline police officers are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on the 3700-block of Lansdowne Road on June 30, 2026.
The incident occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. with witnesses reporting hearing shots fired in the direction of a mobile home in that area. A grey sedan with an Alberta license plate was seen departing the area at that time and is believed to be involved.
Investigators did locate evidence of a shooting and entered the trailer in question to determine the safety of any occupants when their door knocks went unanswered. Three people were located inside, unharmed.
“We are asking for anyone in the area who may have witnessed the event or has dash camera footage or video surveillance showing the incident or movement in the neighbourhood at the time it occurred to please contact our non-emergency line to speak with a police officer,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for Prince George RCMP.
This investigation remains ongoing.
