Police investigating bomb threat at local high school
Prince George RCMP is currently at DP Todd Secondary School on 444 Hill Avenue in relation to a bomb threat received at the school around 1:00 p.m. today, October 7.
“We take all threats to public safety very seriously, especially when they involve one of our schools. Out of an abundance of caution, staff and students at the school have been evacuated from the building while police officers conduct their investigation. We are asking that the public stays out of the area so that first responders can conduct their work safely,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, BCRCMP Spokesperson for Northern B.C.
This investigation is still in the beginning stages with many details yet to be determined. Further updates may be provided as they become available.
