A Punjabi origin man was shot dead  near Manila in Philippines . Local police launched investigation.

The deceased was identified as Ranjeet Singh, 39, a resident of Daultpur village near Mallanwala. Singh went to Philippines sometime ago due to the bad economic condition of his family back in Punjab. 

Ranjeet Singh was shot dead in the market while he was on his motorcycle.
