Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an early morning pedestrian-involved collision that resulted in road closures in the area of 106 Avenue and King George Boulevard (KGB), Surrey.

On October 29, at approximately 6:45 am, Surrey Police Service responded to calls that a pedestrian was laying in the road and had been hit by a vehicle in the 10600 block of King George Boulevard (KGB), Surrey. SPS Frontline officers, along with Surrey Fire Services and BCEHS, attended the scene. A 33-year-old female was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

SPS’s Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) attended the scene and have assumed conduct of the investigation. The cause of the collision remains unknown at this very early stage of the investigation.

Anyone who may have been travelling in the area early this morning, who may have information about the collision, or who may be in possession of dashcam footage is asked to contact the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 26-117028 (SP).
