Rohtak: The 102-year-old man of Gandhra village in Rohtak district, who died in government records, carried out a procession to mark his protest against the Haryana government.
Duli Chand’s old-age pension has been stopped six months back as he is shown dead in the government record.
His grandson said that he had even lodged a complaint on the Haryana Chief Minister’s Grievances Redress and Monitoring System over a month ago, but to no avail.
Fumed over this, Duli Chand, carried out a procession across the city. He was holding a placard that mocked the government and the system, saying, “Thara Fufa Abhi Zinda Hai (Your uncle is still alive).
Meanwhile, Duli Chand said that he has gone pillar to post in last six months but his pension has not been resumed. He had received last pension on February month.
