Burnaby: Gang Enforcement Team seized illicit cannabis from a vehicle on Wednesday night, Burnaby RCMP said on Thursday.
According to the Mounties, officers seized 2.74 kilograms of illicit cannabis from the vehicle after a traffic stop near Boundary and Kingsway street.
The RCMP wrote on Twitter, “Police believe these drugs were illegally obtained and destined for trafficking.”
After the traffic stop, the RCMP seized the vehicle, cash and a phone along with the drugs, the Mounties said.
However, the RCMP did not tell whether a person was arrested during the traffic stop.
