Surrey: A car driver has been killed in a single vehicle collision in Surrey. 

Surrey RCMP said the car driver has died as a result of his injuries. 

As per information, on Thursday around 12:08 am, Surrey RCMP responded to the report of a single vehicle collision in the 13100 block of 72 avenue. 

RCMP said the 21-year-old male driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. Despite all life-saving efforts, he died as a result of his injuries. 

RCMP said its Criminal Collision Investigation Team has taken conduct of the investigation.

“Although it does appear that speed was a contributing factor in the collision, a full and complete investigation is required to determine all circumstances that lead to this fatality,” said Surrey RCMP .
