Jalandhar: Aam Aadmi Party’s victory in Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election is certain. The counting of votes is currently in the final stages.
Currently, AAP candidate Sushil Rinku is leading by 55,140 votes over Congress’ Karamjit Chaudhary. A formal declaration of victory is yet to be made. In view of this, AAP workers have started celebrating.
Congress has been winning this seat for the last 4 times. AAP has been leading in this Congress stronghold from the beginning.
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has reached Delhi where he will meet AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal shortly.
In the evening, he will attend the engagement of Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab Raghav Chadha to Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra.
