Abbotsford: The police are investigating a suspected stabbing incident at in the area of Nadeau Park on Tuesday.
In a press release, Abbotsford Police said patrol officers responded to a suspicious circumstance reported in the area of Nadeau Park in the 3000 block of Townline Road, Abbotsford.
“Officers located a 46-year-old female suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds at the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries,” Abbotsford police said in a statement.
The police said the investigation is being conducted by the major crime unit and it is in the preliminary stages.
“Early indications suggest the incident is targeted. Additional resources are being deployed to the scene to assist with the investigation,” the Abbotsford Police Department said.
