Chandigarh: The Punjab Police has finally arrested Amritpal Singh, after 36 days long chase. The Khalistani sympathizer was arrested by the police after he was detained from a gurdwara in Moga.
Three days ago, the fugitive’s wife Kirandeep Kaur was stopped at Amritsar airport on Thursday.
All the associates of Amritsar have already been arrested. He is likely to be sent to Dibrugarh jail. While he was on the run, he had released videos several times through social media.
Meanwhile, Punjab Police have appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony. People have been appealed not to share any fake news.
