New Delhi: Haryana BJP leader and Tiktok star Sonali Phogat died due to heart attack in Goa on Tuesday. After her death, the Congress has demanded a CBI inquiry.
Haryana Congress President Udai Bhan tweeted condoling the death of Phogat and raised the demand for a CBI inquiry into the matter from the government.
Udaybhan tweeted, “Very sad news of the suspicious and sudden demise of actress Sonali Phogat from Haryana. Praying to God to grant the departed soul a place at his Shri Feet. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family. I demand a CBI inquiry into the matter.”
Sister expresses suspicion of murder
Sonali Phogat’s elder sister Ramon Phogat said that at 11:00 pm she was feeling ill and complained about food. Ramon said that she talked to mother and told her that she was not feeling fine after eating. But in the morning the news of her death came, she said.
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Tiktok star Sonali Phogat was just 41 years old. She died of a heart attack in Goa on Monday night. It is being told that Sonali had gone to Goa to shoot a song with some of her staff members.
