New Delhi: Businessman Sameer Mahendru has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the liquor scam in Delhi. This arrest has been made on charges of money laundering.
Earlier on Tuesday, Vijay Nair was arrested by the CBI in connection with the alleged liquor scam. There is also a lot of politics on these arrests.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that planning is going on to arrest Sisodia next week in this case.
He said, “Now they are going to arrest Manish Sisodia next week, they are afraid that Gujarat is getting out of their hands.”
He said, “Today, the first task of any government should be to provide relief to the common people from inflation and unemployment. But the central government does not care about it. They have to do dirty politics 24 hours a day. Nowadays, they have only one job 24 hours. Somehow finish the Aam Aadmi Party, crush it, finish Kejriwal.”
