New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been summoned again by the CBI for questioning. Manish Sisodia himself has given this information by tweeting. Sisodia has been summoned by the CBI in connection with an alleged scam in Delhi’s new liquor policy.

Manish Sisodia tweeted, “CBI has called again tomorrow. They have put all the strength of CBI, ED against me. Raids at home, bank lockers searched, nothing was found against me. I have arranged good education for the children of Delhi. They want to stop him. I have always cooperated with the investigation and will continue to do so.”

On February 11, 2023, the Central Investigation Agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Magunta Raghav Reddy in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam case. Magunta Raghava Reddy is said to be the son of YSR Congress Party MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy.

According to sources, the arrested accused Raghav is the owner of a company named Balaji Group and son of YSR Congress Party MP. This is the third arrest in this case within the last one week.

The Enforcement Directorate and the CBI have claimed that irregularities were committed while revising Delhi’s excise policy by colluding and bribing a lobby known as ‘South Group’. According to the CBI, Kavita’s former auditor Buchi Babu represented ‘South Group’ in the case. The agency had arrested him for not cooperating.
