Chandigarh: The ruckus that started at 2 am at a private university in Mohali went on till morning. Here a girl is accused of making a video of dozen of female students of the hostel while bathing and sending it to a boy known to her. On this matter, the students of the university created a ruckus in the university campus. After this, the girl who made MMS has been handed over to the police.
The police have also registered an FIR against the girl. It is being told that this girl had been making videos of the students bathing for a long time and used to send it to a young man who knew her. This young man had put these videos on the internet which went viral. When the students saw their videos on the internet, they were stunned.
Punjab Minister of School education Harjot Singh Bains said, “I humbly request all the students of Chandigarh University to remain calm, no one guilty will be spared. It’s a very sensitive matter & relates to dignity of our sisters & daughters. We all including media should be very very cautious,it is also test of ours now as a society.”
Punjab Minister for Higher Education Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said,” It is really saddening to know about the unfortunate incident at Chandigarh University. Since this matter is very sensitive, it is my request not to forward any unsubstantiated news. There is no news of suicide by any girl student. I assure justice to University students especially girls. The DC Mohali and SSP have been ordered to conduct a thorough enquiry into the entire incident. Guilty would not be spared.”
