Ahmedabad: Ahead of the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022, the tussle between BJP-Congress leaders has increased. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has made a controversial statement on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing a rally in Gujarat, Kharge took a dig at PM Modi’s face for seeking BJP votes.
“Modi is seen in every election, does he have 100 heads like Ravana?” he asked.
“Is Modi going to come and do municipal work? Trouble is going to help. You are the Prime Minister. Do the work you have been assigned. He campaign the municipal corporation election, MLA election… Talk about himself all the time. Don’t look at anyone, vote for Modi. How many times do you see your appearance?” He said.
Kharge further said that see your face in corporation elections, seeing your face in MLA elections too. See your face in MP elections too. At every place. Do you have 100 heads like Ravana? Don’t understand.”
Earlier, Mallikarjun Kharge had targeted PM Modi over the emotional card. At a rally, Mallikarjun Kharge had said, “A man like you, who always claims, I am poor. We are poor too. We are the poorest of the poor. We come among the untouchables. At least someone drinks your tea, no one drinks my tea either.”
