New Delhi: Indian agencies have started nabbing gangsters hiding abroad. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested Gangster Deepak Boxer of Lawrence gang in Mexico. Deepak Boxer, a wanted criminal in a ransom and murder case, has been caught in Mexico with the help of FBI and Interpol.

Delhi Police officials said the process of bringing the gangster to India has been completed and he will be brought to India soon. Gangster Deepak Boxer, a resident of Gannaur in Haryana, was on the run in several cases of extortion, including the murder of a builder Amit Gupta in Delhi’s Civil Lines. The Delhi Police had announced a reward of Rs 3 lakh on him.

With the help of his master Jitendra Gogi, Deepak had become a boxer gangster. Gangster Gogi was shot dead by Deepak Boxer in September 2021 in Rohini court. After this, he became the head of the Gogi gang by sitting on the throne of his master.

It was Deepak who had driven Gogi out of Haryana police custody in 2016.

Deepak Boxer, the close aide of gangster Lawrence and gangster Goldy Brar, who is lodged in Bathinda jail, fled abroad this year.

Deepak had fled to Mexico on January 29, 2023, on a flight from Kolkata on a fake boxer passport. When the police got information that Deepak was in Mexico, they started catching him with the help of FBI.
