Delta: The police are investigating an incident of disturbance and shooting that was reported on Sunday night.
In a press release, the Delta Police said on June 11, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 11800 block of 80th Avenue at approximately 11:15 pm.
“Upon arrival, officers learned that an unknown suspect had fired a firearm during the dispute. A short time later, one person arrived at a local hospital with a minor gunshot wound,” the police added.
The person has been treated and released from hospital with a minor injury.
The police are trying to know the motive for the disturbance and shooting.
The Delta Police are looking for a dash cam or CCTV video near 118th Street and 80th Avenue at approximately 11:15 pm on Sunday.
