Washington: Former US President Donald Trump has claimed that the FBI seized 3 of his passports during a raid at his property Mar-a-Lago. He also said that FBI agents have filled 15 boxes from his house and taken away documents, including some classified records.
The FBI raided the former president’s plush Palm House and resort Mar-a-Lago last Tuesday.
On Monday, Donald Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social, “Wow! In the raid on Mar-a-Lago, the FBI stole 3 of my passports (one expired) along with everything. This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our country. Third World!”
After the FBI raid last week, Trump said, “This has never happened to the President of the United States before.” Such action is being taken despite cooperation with investigating agencies. It is like misusing the judicial system as a weapon. This is an attack by hardcore Left Democrats. They don’t want me to contest the 2024 elections.”
According to reports, when Trump left the White House last year, he took many confidential documents with him. However, there has been no confirmation from the FBI so far. It is being said that these documents were taken to Mar-a-LIGO in many big boxes. Since then, US intelligence agencies have been keeping an eye on Trump and his close aides. These raids are also being linked to the matter.
