New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) carried out searches at the premises of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik’s former close aides in connection with an insurance scam case, officials said on Wednesday.
The searches are being conducted at nine locations in Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi in connection with the alleged insurance scam, an official said
The CBI conducted raids at the residence of former Governor Satya Pal Malik’s former PS Kanwar Rana in Delhi’s Nangloi. The house of Satyapal Malik’s former press advisor Sunil Bali in Defence Colony is also being raided.
Sources said that it is a case of coercing the government by people linked to RSS to clear two files when Satya Pal Malik was the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
