Jeff Bezos stepped down as C-E-O of Amazon today and is now taking over the role of executive chairman, with plans to focus on new products and initiatives.

He’s handing over the reins of the company he started in his Seattle garage in 1995 to Andy Jassy, who ran Amazon’s cloud-computing business.

On the 20th of this month, Bezos will fulfil his childhood dream of travelling to space when his Blue Origin company makes its first flight with a crew.
