Chandigarh: Journalist Ramesh Sharma committed suicide in Punjab’s Rajpura after being allegedly harassed by a former Congress MLA.
Before taking this extreme step, the deceased Ramesh made a video expressing his grief and also wrote a suicide note.
At present, the police have started action on the basis of the video and suicide and MLA MLA Hardial Singh Kamboj and some others have been booked on charges of abetment to suice besides other, police said.
Ramesh Kumar has written the names of former MLA Hardial Singh Kamboj and son Nirbhay Singh in the video and suicide note written before his death.
Apart from this, the names of some lawyers and freedom fighters have also been written. Ramesh has alleged that all of them harassed him for long and implicated him in false cases due to this he took this extreme step today.
