Chandigarh: The Special Investigation Team probing the Kotakpura shooting incident has ordered former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal to appear at the police headquarters on August 30 for questioning.
Badal has not confirmed it yet that he will be appearing before the investigation team on August 30 or not.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Sukhbir Singh Badal has returned from Dubai and the investigation team has handed over the letter about his summons.
Even after around seven years in the Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan firing incidents at Faridkot district, the investigations done by different special investigation teams (SIT) appear to be inconclusive.
