On March 21st, 2022, at 9:52 pm, the Abbotsford Police Department responded to a 911 call confirming a shooting had taken place within a residence located in the 3500 block of Latimer Street.
Upon arrival, AbbyPD Patrol members located a 41-year-old male suffering from life-threatening injuries. Lifesaving medical intervention was performed on scene by first responders, but unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries.
AbbyPD is in the preliminary stages of this investigation. No suspect(s) have been identified or arrested at this time.
The Abbotsford Police Major Crime Unit will be transitioning this investigation to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) and further updates will be provided by the IHIT Media team.
