Ottawa: Statistics Canada says almost 80 per cent of the 3.5-million Canadian adults who’ve had long-term COVID-19 symptoms have had them for at least six months.
Symptoms are defined as long-term if they persist for three months or longer after the first infection and they can’t be
explained by anything else.
More than 60 per cent of adults who have tried to get health-care services for their long-term COVID say they haven’t received enough treatment or support.
