More than 1000 cases of COVID-19  in BC have been reported over a 48 hour period between November 11 and 12.In B.C. There have been 288 deaths and 20,368 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. There are 5793 active cases, which is the highest active cases in the province in which 155 cases are in hospital.

“B.C. has seen its daily caseload doubling roughly once every 13 days, in recent weeks”, Henry Said.

There has been six new outbreaks of COVID-19 in Healthcare facilities, reported on Thursday which includes Chartwell Langley Gardens, Peace Portal Seniors Village, The Harrison and two care homes Dania Home and Finnish Manor in Burnaby and one acute outbreak at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
