AAP leadership to meet in Delhi over poll preparedness
The Political Affairs Committee of the Aam Aadmi Party is scheduled to hold an important meeting in New Delhi on Thursday under the chairmanship of party's national convener Arvind Kejriwal. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to participate.
According to party sources, the meeting will focus extensively on preparations for the next Punjab Assembly elections, with particular attention on developing a strategy for the distribution of party tickets.
Earlier on Thursday, Mann is scheduled to attend a meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi. He is expected to join the Political Affairs Committee meeting later in the evening on June 11.
With the elections are due in Punjab early next year, the meeting is considered important for discussing the names of probable candidates. With the growing call to replaces some sitting MLAs, it will be interesting to see whether the party will
