Kamloops: RCMP have been looking for suspects after receiving multiple reports of shots fired on early Friday morning.
The RCMP said officers received multiple reports of gunshots in the 800 block of Battle Street at 2:28 am.
Police said upon arrival, investigators discovered an insecure residence along with signs that at least one firearm had been discharged.
The police said one man was taken to a local area hospital with serious undisclosed injuries. No one else was located with any injuries.
“While the investigation is in its infancy, some of the persons involved are known to police and early indications suggest that this is an isolated incident,” said Staff Sergeant Troy Durand, Acting Operations Support Officer for the Kamloops RCMP.
