Vancouver: People are set to move back into Vancouver’s Crab Park homeless encampment after the city completed a week-long cleanup.
The city says staff supported by non-profit service providers will begin the process of relocating 27 people back to the site tomorrow.
A statement says cleanup crews removed more than 90-thousand kilograms of debris and material 20 propane tanks, and six generators.
The city says B-C Housing has provided funding for new tents and canopies for those who need them, along with canopies and supplies for some of the communal areas.
