New Delhi: Gangster Amritpal Singh Hayer, who has been involved in frequent terrorist incidents in Punjab, has been arrested by the Philippines police. He was deported to India on Friday and arrested by the National Investigation Agency.
The arrested gangster and Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh is a close aide of terrorist Arsh Dalla. Gangsters Manpreet and Amritpal Singh were handling the entire operation of pro-Khalistan terrorist Arsh Dalla in the Philippines.
Amritpal Singh is a resident of Moga district of Punjab. He had been living in the Philippines for many years. He has also carried out many bloody incidents in Punjab.
With the help of Interpol, Central Agency and International Agency, it was possible to bring the accused to India, officials said.
Earlier this year, the Home Ministry declared gangster Arsh Dala as a terrorist. It was only at Arsh’s behest that he used to call for extortion. It is also being told that the gangster also has links with the terrorist organization Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF).
He also has links with terrorist Sukha Dulke. In March, Interpol arrested him from the Iloilo city.
