For this, an amount of $ 2.5 billion has been reserved by the government. The Canada Revenue Agency says the amount could be given to eligible Canadians in July.
Due to the amendments made to the Federal Provincial Fiscal Arrangements Act, provinces and territories will soon get their due share of $ 2 billion. The bill was with the Senate for study since April 19.
