New Delhi: Three IAF officers, who were held responsible in a high-level probe into the March 9 incident of accidental missile launch into Pakistan, were today sacked.
According to an official statement, the Court of Inquiry (CoI) found in its investigation into the incident that the three officials had not followed the laid down rule procedure (SOP). After this incident, the Ministry of Defense had expressed deep regret, while Pakistan lodged a strong protest with India in this regard.
