Surrey – Metro Vancouver’s transportation agency is launching a new Bike Bus for cyclists heading to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.

TransLink says the bus providing more room for bicycles will run along one of the most popular routes

for cycling customers — the Bridgeport Station to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal route.

It says the Bike Bus is a retrofitted vehicle with seven interior bicycle racks, bringing the total bike

capacity aboard to nine from the standard two.

It will run from July 1st through September 5th on Fridays, weekends and holidays with hourly departures aligning with ferry
sailings to Swartz Bay.
