Fatehpur: Two cousins, aged 17 and 15 years, were allegedly, were abducted and gang-raped by six youths in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
On getting information about the incident, the police team led by Superintendent of police reached the spot. The police have registered a case and sent the two girls for medical examination.
It is worth mentioning that there is a fair of Sobhan Sarkar in Senpur village of Hussainganj police station area which lasts for five days. Two girls from a village in Hussainganj were abducted and gang-raped by six youths while watching the fair.
Also, an attempt wad made to abduct five more teenager but they ran away and started screaming, victims told the police.
Hearing the girls’ screams, the people present there rescued the other girls from the youth and 6 accused were arrested. The police reached the spot and arrested all the accused and registered a case in the police station.
SP Rajesh Kumar Singh said that six youth have gang-raped two minor girls who went to see the fair. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. The girls have been sent for medical examination.
