New Delhi: UP Police’s special task force (STF) has killed notorious gangster Anil Dujana in an encounter in Meerut on Thursday. Dujana was killed in an encounter with the STF in Bhola Ki Jhal under Jani police station area in Meerut this afternoon.

Anil Dujana alias Anil Nagar was booked in several serious cases including murder, robbery, kidnapping. Dujana was released from jail just a week ago after getting bail in a murder case.

The gangster was wanted in 62 serious cases, including 18 murders, extortion, robbery, land grabbing, eviction and the Arms Act. Also, Anil has been charged under the NSA and gangster act.

He is accused of attacking gangster Sunder Bhati with an AK-47. Dujana was in jail since 2012 and came out on bail in January 2021. A reward of Rs 25,000 was announced by Bulandshahr police and Rs 50,000 by Noida police. The court had issued a non-bailable warrant for not appearing in the cases against him.
