Abbotsford: A man in Abbotsford has been charged with the second-degree murder of his wife.
B-C’s integrated homicide investigative team says 41-year-old Balwinder Kaur was stabbed to death Friday in a home in the city.
It says Abbotsford police officers arrested her husband, Jagpreet Singh, at the scene.
I-HIT says it took over the investigation, working alongside Abbotsford police and the B-C Coroners Service, and the 50-year-old has since been charged with murder.
