BC Reports 9 deaths from Covid-19 and around 2000 new cases have been reported over the weekend in BC.
Another 1959 cases, 654 were identified from Friday to Saturday, followed by 659 from Saturday to Sunday and 646 from Sunday to Monday. Each day the province surpassed its previous record.Currently, there are 52 active outbreaks in our HealthCare system.
Henry confirmed the outbreak at Cambridge Elementary and Platinum Athletic club in Surrey.
“As the number of cases and outbreaks is showing, we are in the most challenging of times,” Henry said. “We need to say no to social gatherings right now. We also need to minimize our travel, maintain our safe distances as best we can at all times, and use masks.” Henry added.
There are around 6279 active cases of Covid-9 in the province, including 57 in critical care.
