The Shiv Sena organises a dussehra rally at Shivaji Park in Mumbai every year. This time, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation did not allow the Shiv Sena to hold the rally. This kept his program hanging in the balance. In fact, the Mumbai Police had given a report to the BMC about the possibility of law and order disturbances due to the rally.

The Bombay High Court allows to hold rally

There was rhetoric about the rally for several days. The Shiv Sena had approached the court to organise the rally. Finally, on Friday, the Bombay High Court cleared the hurdles by giving permission for the rally.

The court has also said in its order that law and order should be taken care of. The court reprimanded the BMC and said that the event has been going on for so many years, no incident has happened so far. After the court order, the day of organizing dussehra rally in the government’s GR has been fixed.
