Canada leads the World in administering the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
More than 73% of the eligible Canadian received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines, Federal Health officials said at an update on Tuesday. According to Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam, more than 29 million doses have been administered in Canada.
A site, Our World in Data that tracks COVID-19 indicators shows Canada as first in the world when it comes to the percentage of a country’s population that’s received one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Recently, Canada has seen a significant decrease in Covid-19 cases as total number of cases were less than 1500 reported daily.
