Punjab: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed a large rally at Dussehra Ground, supporting BJP candidate Dr. Subhash Sharma from Sri Anandpur Sahib. Singh criticized the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party for betraying Punjab and emphasized the strong leadership of PM Modi, which he claimed has secured India’s borders and elevated its global standing.
Singh asserted that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) would soon be reintegrated with India and offered to help Pakistan eliminate terror factories if needed. He highlighted India’s growing defense exports, aiming to surpass Rs 50,000 crore in the next five years, and refuted allegations of Chinese infiltration.
Urging voters to support BJP for Punjab’s well-being, Singh noted the enthusiasm of the rally attendees, with chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’ resonating through the crowd, which included many from rural areas.
