Surrey : Surrey RCMP are seeking public help in investigating a fatal crash in Cloverdale, Surrey, B.C., that occurred on Monday afternoon. The collision took place at the intersection of Highway 10 and 184th Street around 4:40 p.m. PT.
A Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling eastbound on Highway 10 collided with an Acura sedan turning left onto 184th Street. The Acura’s passenger died at the scene from catastrophic injuries, while both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized.
Police report significant damage to both vehicles and confirm that all involved parties remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation. Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor.
Surrey RCMP are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them at 604-599-0502, quoting file 2024-75498. B.C. Emergency Health Services dispatched four ambulances to the crash site.
